EXCITEMENT AT ITS PEAK:
DT on campus was a hit at Kamala Nehru College – the girls, it seemed, couldn’t wait for the show to begin. The heavy showers added to the mood and nobody seemed to mind them. Armed with colourful umbrellas, the girls let their hair down.
OF GLIB TALKERS:
Tara told her college mates, “If you don’t shout for me, it’ll be your loss, as I am going to be the best.” Well, her one-liner did work and she made it to the finals.
SOMETHING DIFFERENT:
The shortlisted candidates chose to sing, act or dance in the talent round. Deeksha requested emcee Kanishk that she be allowed with Naam, another contestant. He agreed and the two girls had the audience laughing their guts out with their funny act. Sakshi’s take on Rakhi Sawant also made the audience chuckle.
AND THE WINNER WAS...: Meher Bajwa. She along with Sakshi, Monisha and Tara made it to the finals. By now, the drizzle had turned into heavy rainfall once again, but the fun just doubled and tripled. Walking down a wet ramp wasn’t a cakewalk exactly but the girls managed it with a smile.
SOME RAIN DANCE FOR ALL:
DJ Sumit Sethi spun some zippy music and the girls took the chance to groove even as it rained.
